GDIT is searching for individuals who current support the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) and telecommunications circuit and services provisioning area. We are seeking subject matter and technical expertise to develop, program, manage and execute the Air Force's DISN Lead Command and user DISN requirements management responsibilities.
Provide communications provisioning, policy and technical support for the Air Force DISN Lead Command, MAJCOMs, field units, and tenants.
Experience in ordering, provisioning, and activating network telecommunications services in the Department of Defense and be able to assist customers in utilizing applications such as DISA Direct Store Front (DDSF) and the Air Force’s Telecommunications Certification Office Support System (TCOSS) along with other DISA provisioning resources such as the Telecommunications Inventory and Billing Information (TIBI) system, and the Worldwide On-Line System (WWOLS).
Possess the ability to analyze very large amounts of telecommunications data and provide reports and other products for the government customer. Sources of data may be external data systems such as DDSF, WWOLS, TCOSS, and TIBI.
Experience with trend analysis to identify trends in bandwidth consumption and cost by Air Force organizations and programs. Identify trends in the timeliness of delivered services by DISA or commercial vendors. Produce products which best communicate findings for the target audience.
Maintain circuit inventory listings and other quick reference data for use by the Air Force Enterprise Haul Communications organization.
A high level of expertise and experience with advanced features of the Microsoft Excel application is desired to be able to perform analysis and reporting functions.
Have a good working knowledge of local- and wide-area networking. Be familiar with the architecture and components of the Defense Information System Network and the Air Force Network (AFNET).
Experience working on project teams with other IT professionals.
Assist Government (HQ Cyberspace Capabilities Center) staff in completing relevant DISN Long-Haul Communications (LHC) tasks or projects levied on the office from time to time as are relevant to the Air Force, LHC mission oversight and the purposes of the contract.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience.
Interim Secret Security Clearance required.
