Telemarketing Sales Advisor (Part-time) – Foreign Offices
Department: Service Center - Latin America Region
Reports To: Telemarketing Sales Supervisor
Nature of Work
This position renews and extends years of membership to existing members, upgrades to preferred status, reinstates members whose membership have become delinquent, and offers Club Interval to non-existing members (owning timeshares) while providing excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilizes a list within the membership sales system provided by management to:
Calls members who need their membership renewed.Calls members who want to upgrade membership or to encourage them toupgrade membership.Calls members whose memberships have become delinquent to reinstatetheir membership.Meets monthly quota on recent delinquent, renewable, and preferred.
Answers member’s questions on all Interval International products and services.
Provides Telemarketing Supervisor with a daily sales report.
Performs other related duties as required
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
Must possess a minimum of two years telephone sales experience.
Must maintain current knowledge about all new and existing membership programs and benefits.
Must be computer literate and possess knowledge of the AS400 system.
Must possess excellent customer skills.
Must have excellent telephone etiquette.
Must possess excellent negotiating and sales skills.
Must be able to work shifts.
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, manual dexterity (writing, typing, handling), operation of automated equipment ie., computer.
