Telemetry Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Telemetry Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and coordinating the telemetry requirements for a development missile. You will work closely with missile engineers and system engineers to determine the measurements and communications that will be telemetered to a ground station while the missile is in flight. This position requires the development of the master measurements list (MML) and post-processing of telemetered data after flight or ground testing. Additionally, you will develop and set up the telemetry test set (ground station) for pre-test checkouts and coordinate with the Government Test Range on telemetry data capture and post-processing. Key Responsibilities: + Telemetry Coordination: Establish and coordinate telemetry requirements for a development missile. + Collaboration: Work with missile engineers and system engineers to determine telemetered measurements and communications. + Master Measurements List (MML): Develop the MML and post-process telemetered data after testing. + Telemetry Test Set Development: Develop and set up the telemetry test set (ground station) for pre-test checkouts. + Government Test Range Coordination: Coordinate with the Government Test Range on telemetry data capture and post-processing for delivery to the client. Basic Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or any Technical Degree. + Experience in embedded telemetry or flight termination design. + Experience with software development. + Experience integrating hardware and software. + Experience verifying that system interfaces comply with associated Interface Control Documents (ICDs). + Active secret clearance. Desired Qualifications: + Experience developing a Master Measurements List (MML). + Knowledgeable in verifying system built-in performance from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system. + Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, designers, and production personnel. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Background in RF telemetry. An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
