Certified Telemetry Technician (Onsite, no remote option)
Shifts
30-40 working hours a week
Must be open to all shifts and also open to working on Saturdays or Sundays if required : 1st shift starting from 5 AM to 7 AM, 2nd shift from 2 PM
to 4 PM, and overnight shifts.
Duties
Preparation and accurate recording of Telemetry
Monitors participant's cardiac rhythms using centralized cardiac monitoring system
Accurately analyzes ECG rhythms and reports any problems to licensed medical professional; escalates issues to
Team Leader and Principal Investigators
Oversee and communicate cardiac pattern on telemetric monitoring system
Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working and study environment
Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment
Foster respectful relationships with study participants
Accurately record all research data obtained or observed
Assist with training of new staff members
Observe study subjects for general well-being and report appropriately
Assist with QC of source documents
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Certification as Telemetry Technician
High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years as Telemetry Technician
Previous telemetry monitoring experience AND 1 year of inpatient hospital experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
