**Job Title:** Telemetry Transporter

**Location:** 800 Spruce Street
**Hours/Shift:** Full time, 1:30P-10:00P and every third weekend

Are you passionate about patient care and looking for a dynamic role in a leading healthcare institution? Penn Medicine is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Telemetry Transporters. In this vital role, you'll ensure the safe and efficient transportation of patients, lab specimens, and blood products throughout our hospital complex.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Safe Patient Transport:** Provide timely and secure transportation for patients, specimens, and pharmaceuticals across the institution.
+ **Vital Signs Monitoring:** When requested by nursing staff, monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, lung sounds, pulse oximetry, and ECG tracings using a portable cardiac monitor.
+ **Assist with Patient Movement:** Help hospital personnel with patient transfers from bed to wheelchair or stretcher.
+ **Efficiency Goals:** Work quickly and efficiently to meet department response and travel time goals using the Epic Rover Transport System.
+ **Exemplary Hospitality:** Demonstrate excellent hospitality towards patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers, adhering to our Service Excellence Standards.
+ **Physical Demands:** Perform tasks involving lifting, walking, pushing, and pulling 100-200 pounds, while maintaining an appropriate range of motion.
+ **Training and Stewardship:** Assist in training new employees and act as a responsible steward of the department and hospital’s equipment.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS):** Required certification through the American Heart Association, with ongoing maintenance and annual competency reviews.
+ **Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):** Required certification, with ongoing maintenance and annual competency reviews.
+ **Education:** High School Diploma or GED required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
