Learn more at:https://www.uwmedicine.org/specialties/neurosciences-institute/telestroke-program **POSITION SUMMARY** The Telestroke Program Coordinator is responsible for the clinical and business coordination of safe, timely, and efficient Telestroke program operations and development in collaboration with nursing and medical stroke leadership at Harborview Medical Center.This role supports Telestroke operations across all affiliated partner and non-partner hospitals in the WWAMI region, participating in the implementation of goals and strategies that contribute to the continued growth and delivery of exceptional stroke care both within UW Medicine and across the region.The coordinator works closely with internal and external stakeholders and partners—locally, regionally, and nationally—to coordinate and support strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include physician and clinician support for compliance, meeting coordination, data collection and abstraction, and day-to-day operational assistance for all participating Telestroke sites.Reporting to the Stroke Program Manager and supporting the Telestroke Operations Specialist RN, and stroke medical directors, the coordinator may be assigned projects aligned with Telestroke and stroke system needs, including supporting education for staff, EMS, and community partners. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Coordinate Telestroke program logistics, compliance tasks, and clinical/business operations and meetings + Assist with provider onboarding, staff development, and site orientation across Telestroke partner sites + Maintain and assist in abstracting and analyzing program data to support quality improvement and strategic planning + Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective written and verbal communication and reporting + Support and assist in outreach, education, and marketing efforts to promote program visibility and community engagement + Collaborate on regional stroke education initiatives involving EMS and other healthcare professionals + Participate in regulatory preparedness and physician-facing clinical documentation workflows **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive team member with a passion for improving healthcare access and delivery for ALL people. **The ideal candidate will:** Be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), Epic EHR, and data platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Epic reporting toolsHave experience in healthcare operations, clinical stroke care, process or quality improvement, or program coordinationBe an excellent communicator with strong analytical, organizational, note taking and customer service skillsThrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and evolving program needsBe adaptable, flexible, and open-minded individualStrive for a better tomorrow each day and not be afraid to ask for help or ask questionsLife-long learnerEnjoy working collaboratively across departments and beyond the boundaries of healthcare systemsA competency test may be required to assess technical and analytical skills following the initial interview **QUALIFICATIONS** High school graduation or equivalent AND at least one (1) year of experience in regulatory, quality, or healthcare program coordinationOREquivalent education/experience **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only?Level?I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
