TEMP – HR Assistant (3 months contract)

About the Role:Employed through a preferred contingent supplier to support projects on-site or off-site for neurocrine.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including copying, filing and processing documentation, Workday process administration, managing HR credit card and submitting expense reports 

Support HR efforts by ensuring all new hires documentation is completed accurately and completely. 

Complete background checks, as required. 

Maintain HR calendar, scheduling and coordinating meetings for the team, updating Org Charts, sending work anniversary emails to employees 

Coordinate and assist with company events, organize HR team events, order catering for meetings and assist full HR team with their meetings preparations 

Perform other administrative duties as needed, such as managing HR supplies, company store inventory, ordering flowers for employees, mailing packages, ordering labor law posters and pamphlets, preparing new hire folders 

Requirements:

High School Diploma / Associates degree and 2 years of Human Resources experience 

Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization skills, and high attention to detail 

Professional demeanor, high initiative 

Ability to work efficiently and with limited supervision 

Ability to interact with employees at all levels 

Uses established skills to perform a range of daily operations 

Applies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
