Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: 

Perform accurate and timeous analyses on various samples to meet SLA requirements. 

Maintain equipment to working condition as per schedule and conduct trouble shooting prior to escalating when necessary. 

Perform various administrative activities as and when required. 

Work according to policies, procedures and CAM to maintain various systems applied. 

Proactively participate in problem solving and identify risk /improvement opportunities. 

Communicate effectively with various teams. 

Participate in proficiency testing scheme as per lab requirements. 

Optimize use of lab resource-consumables etc. 

Participate in internal audits. 

Act as Senior Lab Analyst when required. 

 

 

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills: 

National Diploma in Food Technology or Microbiology or equivalent qualification. 

Ability to work under pressure. 

Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential. 

Computer literacy, preferably MS Office; LIMS and SAP will be considered advantageous
