With direct supervision, the HRIS Clerk will perform a variety of routine clerical and administrative tasks in support of the Human Resources Information System.   This position will be responsible for maintaining human resources records and documentation, completing data entry tasks, investigating issues, and answering phone calls and emails.

Responsibilities Assist with entering employee data into HRIS system/Infor Lawson and verifies entries against forms or records.Follows established procedure for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.Complete various documents for the employment verification process.Complete employment verification when requested in a timely manner.Maintain employee files and the HR filing system (manually and electronic).Assist with contacting stores regarding missing HR documents.Assist verifying I-9 records for new hires and updating for terminated employees.Assist in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.Assist with updating leave of absence within the HRIS system.Assist in projects, such as; HR events, benefits open enrollment, etc.Keeps integrity and accuracy of database, fixing data when necessary.Investigates and diagnoses root cause analysis, such as user error or application problems, for data issues.Performs analyses, tests implementation and administrates HRIS modules including HR, compensation, payroll, benefits and other related software.Will create reports of basic to moderate complexity in excel.Demonstrates a comittment to Kirkland's ValuesPerforms other duties as necessary. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.One to three years of general business experience, Human Resources experience preferred.Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.Experience with I-9 and E-Verify compliance helpful.Proficiently operate MS Word, Excel (formulas) and Outlook.Organized with attention to detail.Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of records and information.Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
