Overview Foot Locker, Inc are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Payroll Operations team within our Finance organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data analysing and implementing the workforce management system and process to ensure compliance, efficiency and alignment of organisational goals. This role involves working closely with Workforce Management, Customer Experience, HR, finance, and IT Departments to enhance payroll operation, support project management and drive continuous improvement iniatives. Responsibilities Requirements Gathering - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for payroll-related projects. Understand end-user needs and translate them into functional specifications. Process Analysis - Evaluate current payroll processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. Conduct gap analyses to determine areas for enhancement or automation. System Implementation - Assist in the configuration and implementation of payroll software and systems. Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing HR and fince systems. Project Management - Lead or support payroll-related projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Facilitate project meetings and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Testing and Validation - Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues that arise. Training and Support - Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on new payroll systems and processes. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed. Data Analysis and Reporting - Analyze payroll data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making. Generate reports for management to track payroll metrics and compliance. Regulatory Compliance - Ensure that payroll processes adhere to legal standards and best practices. Stakeholder Communication - Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on project status, changes, and challenges. Foster strong relationships with HR, finance, Workforce Management, Customer Experience and IT departments. Qualifications Education - A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus. Experience - 2 years minimum experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payroll or HR-related projects. Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Oracle Peoplesoft, UKG or another HRMS) is highly desirable. Technical Skills - Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, VBA) and project management software (JIRA). Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance standards. Analytical Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business processes and recommend solutions. Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and interact effectively with various stakeholders. Project Management - Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
