Job Description Summary
The duties and responsibilities of this role are to receive and sort deliveries for the Weissman lab on weekdays from 5 PM to 7 PM. You will label and store temperature-sensitive materials in the appropriate place and document receipt information to communicate locations to lab members for sample retrieval. Additionally, you will assist with autoclaving and glass-washing of lab equipment, including restocking of glassware as directed. Breaking down any cardboard boxes for disposal by the cleaning crew and flushing sinks and eyewashes for 10 minutes once a week are also part of the responsibilities. There may be additional duties as assigned.
*An undergraduate with experience in biology is preferred*

+ Check all possible delivery locations and retrieve packages
+ Label deliveries and store temperature-sensitive material in appropriate locations
+ Document receipt delivery and information to communicate locations to lab members
+ Load autoclave and glasswasher to run cycles. Re-stock clean glassware in cabinets
+ Break down any cardboard boxes to be disposed of
+ Flush lab sinks and eyewashes for 10 minutes once per week
Qualifications
+ High School Grad/GE Degree and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
