Responsibilities The Opportunity: As the Temporary - Accounts Payable Supervisor, this role will be accountable for supporting 8-10 Contracts & Payables Representatives in the execution of Accounts Payable work in support of PepsiCo Foods North America operations. This position will report to the Contracts & Payables Manager in Mexico Capability Center. The role will be responsible for providing leadership and tactical execution of the Contracts & Payables operations. Key partnerships with field operations, sales, and HQ teams are critical to ensure high levels of service, timely execution, and effective follow-up. The nature of the work is proactive, and the leader must be able to alert key stakeholders quickly. The supervisor will oversee representatives focused on accounts payable, vendor maintenance, contract compliance, and associated reporting. The leader of this team will also be responsible for creating operational efficiencies, executing change plans, and ensuring the excellent development of the Contracts & Payables team representatives. Your Impact: As the Temporary - Accounts Payable Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing the capability of a frontline team of 16-18 Representatives Ensuring Accounts Payable duties are executed in compliance with internal audit (SAG/SOX) guidelines Partnering with key stakeholders for adherence to and coordination of key business initiatives Establishing and maintaining vendor partnerships to ensure quality and reliable work Resolving any escalated customer or vendor inquiries in a professional and efficient manner Addressing vendor maintenance billing issues and working closely with local vendor teams for resolution Collaborating and maintaining high levels of communication with all stakeholders (Logistics, Sales, Warehouse, Fleet, HQ) Utilizing SAP and other systems to provide strategic oversight of work order compliance and coding Maintaining various performance tracking documents, including but not limited to Weekly Cost Management Reports, Vendor Pricing Lists, and KPI performance Identifying trends and recommending corrective action measures when needed Proactively seeking new ways of working to deliver efficiency gains Leading change initiatives and embracing change to deliver key business imperatives Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Education Bachelor’s degree required with concentration in Engineering, Business or Analytics preferred Experience English Fluency (C1) 3-5 years of experience managing a team in a service-focused environment Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel) and payment management systems If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
