The temporary CDRT case abstractor will be requesting, collecting and maintaining decedent records from across several disciplines and jurisdictions (city, county and state law enforcement, clinics, hospitals and medical systems, EMS, local and state fire departments, school districts, judicial system, and state, county and municipal agencies, etc.). This role will be responsible for producing high quality abstraction of records to complete data for the National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention (NCFRP) database, writing a case narrative summary and gathering statistical and other pertinent information related to decedent to facilitate case review. The Department will be hiring 2 temporary positions. These are temporary positions, limited to 780 hours and will end on or around September 30, 2025.
