Buffalo is tucked away between the rolling plains of the Old West and the towering peaks of the Bighorn Mountains and is a small-town living at its finest. Nearby outdoor activities are endless: hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, ATV trails, rodeos, and a four-star golf course in the heart of town. Billings, Montana, and its amenities are just over a two-hour drive from Buffalo. And Wyoming is one of only seven states with no income tax! Qualifications PREFERENCES: Preference may be given to individuals who can perform algebraic calculations. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of materials testing. + Knowledge of surveying methods and equipment operations. + Knowledge of construction inspection, which includes the interpretation of plans and specifications. + Skill in the use of computers. + Strong math skills are required. + Ability to perform algebraic calculations. + Knowledge of documentation of project records. + Knowledge of communication with supervisors and contractors. + Knowledge of material testing, and ability to perform complicated computer calculations. + Knowledge of survey methods & ability to apply such as uploading & downloading of survey files. + Knowledge of contract time, administration & contract changes. + Knowledge of engineering computations/formulas. + Knowledge of core drilling equipment, pneumatic & electric jackhammers, and hand tools. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None - See "Preferences" Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Daily use of motor vehicles. + Workaround large construction machinery. + Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time. + Ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds independently. + Work outdoors for extended periods of time in adverse environmental conditions. + Must be willing to work long hours and up to 6 days per week. + Daily and overnight travel is required.
