Temporary Document Management Specialist (3 months), On-Site, Bethpage, NY
**Req Number** 148129 FlexStaff is seeking a Temporary Document Management Specialist for our Client, a full-service banking institution, located in the Bethpage, NY. Full-time, 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 1hr unpaid lunch break. This position is working 100% on-site. At this role you will be responsible for the proper handling, retention and retrieval of Corporate, Branch, Member and S3 records throughout their lifecycle. Requirements: 1. Proven experience in preparing, scanning, and quality-checking documents and images for electronic or digital conversion, ensuring adherence to quality control standards. 2. Familiarity with records retention schedules and experience working with branches, third parties, and storage providers to manage document transmittals. 3. Proficiency in logging, tracking, and maintaining batch records and reports. 4. Ability to consistently follow departmental service level objectives, procedures, and operating systems when executing tasks. 5. Experience in reviewing and preparing mortgage and home equity loan files for long-term retention, ensuring compliance with third-party document and shipping requirements. 6. Competency in using document management software and other related computer systems. Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Prepare, scan, and quality check documents/images for electronic/digital conversion in accordance with quality control standards and departmental procedures. + Collaborate with branches, third parties, and long-term storage providers to manage document transmittal in line with the "Record Retention Schedule Policy." + Maintain complete and accurate files by researching and validating missing or incomplete information. + Log, track, and maintain batch records and reports. + Adhere to departmental service level objectives, procedures, and operating systems while executing tasks. + Monitor work queues and departmental email inboxes. + Review and prepare mortgage/home equity loan files for long-term retention, ensuring compliance with third-party document and shipping requirements. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
