Temporary Finance/ Accounting Analyst

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with cost center managers, functional leaders & Finance Business Partners in developing annual budgets / quarterly projections; including clear documentation of assumptions & posting in Oracle / Hyperion Record month-end journal entries (accruals, reclasses, charge in / outs, & prepaid amortization) for all cost centers supported; ensure accurate reporting of financial results in Oracle / Hyperion Analyze financial variances for cost center actuals, projections, and budget Compile Month-End Balance Sheet account reconciliations Support audit requests from internal / external audit Oversee and enforce SOX requirements, including testing and compliance procedures Provide ad-hoc analytical support for cost center managers on an as-needed basis

Education & Experience

BS in Finance/Accounting 2-5 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role (preferably in a manufacturing setting)

Skills

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management Systems, or Essbase Strong organizational and communication skills Team player who can adapt to new responsibilities

Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment.

Physical Requirements

 

Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings. Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
