Temporary Human Resources Assistant 6-Months

This is a Part-Time role 24-32 hours per week, temporary six-month assignment


Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support services to all team members in the HR department. They play an integral role in the delivery of employee support to customers by assisting with tasks such as employee filing maintenance, data entry of confidential personnel information, compliance reporting, strategic data preparation, HR initiatives, and assisting with other projects as needed.

General Assignments

Personnel administration, file management, scanning files to electronic format, audit preparationComplete employee documents as requested and create HR documentation as neededAssist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and dutiesProvide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Team in the areas of recruitment, engagement and employee file management.Compile and update employee recordsAssist with audits, compliance reviews, and other mandatory reportsSupport HR activities and project initiatives Other duties as assignedAttend meetings/training as requested/requiredOther duties as assigned Adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to maintaining client confidentiality such as HIPAA


Requirements


  

Education & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of responsible administrative experience required (preferably in a human resource environment) OR bachelor’s degree in human resources or related area.Proficiency in administrative skills and Microsoft Office Suite required, organizing and setting priorities, maintaining confidentiality, and customer service skills. 

Working Conditions

The position is on location.Requires lifting to 20 lbs.
