Temporary Human Resources Associate

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a temporary HR Specialist to join our Total Rewards Team and assist with several key initiatives over the next 3 months. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who can independently manage and complete assigned tasks. A strong understanding of general HR processes, including HR operations, benefits, and compensation, is essential for success in this role.

This temporary assignment will be assigned the following projects:

Form I-9 Project: Conduct a compliance audit of existing Form I-9s, update forms as advised by legal counsel, upload completed I-9s into Workday, and ensure all new Form I-9s are processed accurately in Workday for new employees by their 3rd day of employment.Job Description Template: Transfer current job descriptions into the newly implemented Job Description template, ensuring compliance with Document Control requirements and the published SOP. Send Job Descriptions to new hires for signature, and sending form to Document Control for filing in Training File.Compensation Statement Filing: Upload all 2025 Compensation and Bonus Statements to Employee Personnel Files in Workday.New Hire Onboarding Communication: Send onboarding emails to all new hires on their first day of employment.Benefits Invoice Audits: Assist the Senior Benefits & Wellness Manager with monthly benefits invoice audits.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

Due to the nature of these projects, this temporary position will be required to be on-site 5 days per week, Monday through Friday.           

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 of years of experience working as an HR Professional or Paralegal.Demonstrated expertise in E-Verify and Form I-9 administration.Ability to handling sensitive employee information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.      

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced in managing projects from initiation through to completion.Proficient in using Workday for tasks such as reporting, data entry, research, and auditing.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data management and record-keeping.Effective communicator, able to interact with employees, managers, and HR professionals.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Knowledgeable in HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with an understanding of relevant labor laws.Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or related discipline.
