Temporary Project Administrator Assistant

We're looking for a Project Administrator Assistant to join our Program Development Team to facilitate software tool procurement and help establish processes & procedures to manage a new laboratory being developed at the SEI.  Additionally, this role will assist in coordinating the monthly Project Management functions of multiple SEI engagements with Government customers.

What you'll do

Provide Procurement support

Coordinating vendor meetings

Create and complete various procurement forms and network with procurement and contract teams.

Update and create Excel and Confluence pages on status of multiple procurement actions

Provide Project Management support

Assist with drafting PowerPoint presentations

Collaborate with Project Administrator III on process documents and document repository

Assist Project Administrator III with drafting monthly activity reports

Who you are

Ability to work under pressure; meet deadlines; deal with difficult individuals while maintaining composure.

Must have strong customer service orientation and be detail orientated.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong work ethic and a desire to learn

The ability to edit and rewrite content from other one sources to another

Ability to handle multiple tasks, respond to shifting priorities, and pay careful attention to details.

Ability to work in a team environment with technical experts, project managers, and administrative assistants

Have the ability to deliver high-quality work and care about the impact.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree required, experience in Program Management or purchasing desired.

You must be able to report to our office in Pittsburgh

Experience working in a team environment.

Willingness to travel to various locations to support the SEI’s overall mission. This includes within the SEI and CMU community.

You will be subject to a background check investigation
