Temporary Recruiter
Join our Human Resources team as a temporary recruiter.  This assignment is 6-8 months in length and is a hybrid position.    

Position Summary

Performs recruitment related duties to ensure the timely recruitment, selection and hiring of qualified employees and physicians to meet the organization’s operational staffing needs. Responsible for the full cycle of the recruitment/hiring process.

Primary Position Responsibilities

Manages Job Postings through the applicant tracking system. Researches, recommends and utilizes creative sourcing tools aimed at reducing time to fill and cost per hire. Develops and implements effective recruiting strategies in order to attract, screen, recruit and select high quality candidates for entry level, professional, leadership, clinical and technical job openings. Conducts initial screening of application.  Refers qualified applicants to hiring managers for interviews within 48 hours.  Ensures that necessary follow-up occurs in a timely manner. Articulates and negotiates job offers for internal and external candidates within 24 hours. Clearly communicates all aspects of the offer including salary, benefits, bonuses, relocation assistance, etc.  Conducts and reviews reference and background checks prior to the first day of employment (Employment, Criminal, Education, License, etc.). Interfaces with New Hires, Managers, Occupational Health Services and HR Colleagues in coordinating start dates, new employee orientation, and onboarding documents.   Coordinates and processes all offer letters and new hire paperwork.  Ensures that all pre-placement requirements are complete.   

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field Preferred: N/A


Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required: At least 1 year of experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Preferred: Experience in a hospital or health care setting Experience in physician recruitment


License, Registry or Certification:

Required: None Preferred: HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred


Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required: Strong interpersonal skills; customer orientation; ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to research and analyze various types of information; ability to investigate and make recommendations to effectively resolve problems/issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law.
