Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) within the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS).

The primary purpose of the Temporary Research Assistant is to perform research activities in a laboratory studying a genetic model of neurodevelopmental disability.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

As directed, performs various research/technical operations relative to the ongoing investigatory activities of the lab. Uses molecular biology approaches including DNA isolation, genotyping of disease models, cell-based assays, and other routine lab-based tasks. Assists with human phenotyping efforts, such as organization of materials, data entry, and administering computerized tasks to study participants. Maintains accurate records of experimentation and research, and keep all trainings up to date. Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
