Temporary (Senior) Manager, Business Management, Retail Wealth Distribution Asia

This is a regional business management role within the Retail Wealth Distribution team, who will work closely with sales teams, IT and Marketing across Asia, as well as other functional leaders within Manulife Investment Management (MIM) and counterparts at Manulife Insurance (Lifecos).

Position Responsibilities:

Work closely with technology, design, product owner, sales teams and other functions to ensure smooth delivery of customer-centric digital initiatives

Resolve customer digital issues in collaboration with the technology team

Analyse existing features against customer feedback and market trends to inform product enhancements and services improvements

Collaborate on new digital capabilities, including design, budgeting, and resource planning

Drive and meet performance metrics for digital channels

Handle submissions of regional and global reportings e,g, monthly strategic initiatives update, monthly forecast and annual plan, OKRs tracking, Digital KPIs reporting, quarterly newsletter, townhall

Produce report and analysis on retail sales metrics (such as AUM, flows, P&L, # of customers/ accounts/ agents / distributors, top selling funds etc), consolidate commentary and mitigation plans to close gap and provide analytical insights

Support other adhoc requests

Required Qualifications:

At least 10 years of sales reporting experience in the Asia asset management or financial services business; Project Management experience of regional initiatives and/or digital projects an advantage

Experienced user of PowerBI, excel and PowerPoint

Number sensitive; high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent prioritization and time management skills

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that model Manulife corporate core values

Fluent English (reading/writing/spoken) a must

Knowledge of Asia mutual funds industry a plus

Experience of working in a regional capacity an advantage
