Overview Position Summary: Enhance the guest’s experience at The Sanderling Spa by providing superior guest service during check in and check out, by providing tours of the spa facility, scheduling appointments, and charging for services while creating an exceptional environment of relaxation and luxury. Contributing to our 'People First' culture and leading the Spa Service Team and Spa Front Desk Hosts with professionalism and respect. Contributing to the business health of The Sanderling Resort and Spa by participating in Leadership Team meetings and taking on specific responsibilities as assigned by the Spa Director. Qualifications Supervisory Responsibilities: Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Leadership: Provide training to all spa host associates and service providers related to spa software for appointment bookings, POS and file maintenance Provide support, direction and feedback to the spa front desk hosts and service providers Assist guests in all spa and retail areas as needed Provide leadership to all associates to ensure high quality, knowledgeable personnel. Taking on responsibilities as assigned by the Spa Director (i.e. computer/marketing software management, design and/or production of promotional materials and maintenance of The Sanderling Spa). Supervising the hosting and service provider staff during spa shifts, assigning duties as needed. Overseeing spa retail and including inventory of merchandise. Other Spa related duties as assigned by Spa Director Specific job knowledge, skill and ability: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Exceptional leadership ability in directing staff Strong business management and communication skills Ability to work within the spa leadership team Strong customer service, hospitality and spa background Computer experience needed Professional, flexible and positive attitude Superior organizational skills Detailed oriented All responsibilities of a Spa Host Attend monthly Spa Roundtable meetings
