The Welder's responsibilities include:
Prepare, cut pipe sections using table or jig saw, then setup lay-up sectionsWeld pipe using MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques. Complete projects using manufacturing work orders and/or verbal instructionsLocate materials to complete project

Responsibilities Uses verbal or written instruction from work orders and collects materials for processingCuts pipe using pipe cutting equipmentLays out pipe sections on a jig or table and welds with MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques, applies cold galvanizing solution to protect weldsPerforms visual inspection on completed work ensuring quality Maintains a clean and safe work areaPerforms other warehouse and gate fabrication duties as required Qualifications 2-3 years welding experience with MIG, ARCExperience working with hand toolsAble to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75lbs) Ability to read, write and perform basic math functionsAbility to perform own layouts using jigsAbility to work around heat and chemicalsMust be able to work overtime as needed
