We serve industries ranging from oil and gas to renewable energy, and we're looking for a talented Tendering Team Leader to join our Leeds facility—a centre of innovation in pump design and production.

 

As the Tendering Team Leader, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our tender and sales support functions. Your focus will be on ensuring our team meets business targets while delivering outstanding support to our clients. This role involves both leadership and hands-on involvement in tender preparation, sales forecasting, and contract negotiation, ensuring every project aligns with our commercial standards and customer expectations.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Mentor and support your team, providing guidance and motivating performance to achieve success. Drive sales forecasting, report on monthly figures, and evaluate company performance against targets. Oversee project launches, ensuring they are timely, professional, and meet both customer and company standards. Evaluate customer requirements to align our pump solutions with their needs and budgets. Maintain profit margins and ensure tenders comply with our commercial guidelines and delegation of authority. Conduct order entry documentation reviews to ensure seamless transitions from pre- to post-order. Lead launch meetings to guarantee smooth handovers and successful project delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

In-depth knowledge of complex pump packages or expertise in pump applications and systems Expertise in handling complex tenders and managing contracts in a commercial setting. Prior staff management experience. Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills. Commercial awareness and a customer-centric approach.
