Tennis Maintenance Technician

Cherokee Town and Country Club is seeking a Full-Time Tennis Maintenance Technician to join our Racquets team. The Tennis Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining 16 tennis courts by keeping them in top playing condition.
This position is a full-time position with full-time benefits. Our full-time employees are offered Medical, Dental and Vision coverages.
Essential Functions of the job:
Drag soft courts at intervals specified in standard operating procedure, sweep lines, remove all debris and trash from courts and receptacles. Remove all weeds and debris from courts at fence lines. Keep the soft courts watered by using controls at water boxes per standard operating procedures. Keep hard courts clean of debris and other trash, and blow the courts, when necessary, as specified in standard operating procedures. Dust, shave, and plug soft courts when needed to restore courts to top playing condition. Keep in repair soft court tapes, all nets, all fences, and all gates.
Speed up getting courts playable after rainfall by drying wet areas with special equipment. Clean and clear all drains surrounding the courts and all drainage catch basins in the facility. Replenish supplies, ice, towels, cups, and any other amenities installed as a service to players. Keep the general tennis area clean, including walkways, pavilion area and patio, the terrace overlooking court 7, the breezeway by the Tennis Shop, and the terrace and alcove by court 1. Keep the maintenance building clean and organized. Remove trash from the Tennis Shop and Tennis Office daily and keep these areas in presentable condition. Install and take down fence screening as specified in standard operating procedure. Keep desk personnel and pro staff informed of court conditions.
Qualifications:
+ Basic computer skills sufficient to operate equipment maintenance software packages.
+ Ability to routinely lift/carry up to 50 ibs at a time without injury.
+ Physically able to traverse property and stand/walk for long durations of time.
+ Able to work in a variety of weather conditions while repairing or inspecting equipment.
Work Schedule:
This full-time work schedule is 40 hours per week.
