The geographical focus is open, and the desired chronological focus is any era, pre-industrial to the present. The successful candidate will complement and extend existing department strengths in the research area of Science & Technology, as well as in other research areas. The successful candidate will maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda, teach two courses per semester, recruit and train exceptional students, and participate in university and professional affairs.
