Essential functions (job duties):
The Department of Management at Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position for Fall 2025.
+ Teach 2 (per semester) undergraduate/graduate courses in Strategic Management
+ Manage assessment and student progress with a Learning Management System (Canvas)
+ Maintain and adapt curriculum to be current, effective, and appropriate to course and program competencies. Instruct students in a classroom, online, and/or hybrid setting
+ Conduct research suitable for publication in top-tier journals
Qualifications:
+ Ph.D. in Management or a related field from an AACSB-accredited program
+ A record or evidence of potential to publish in leading academic journals
+ Experience teaching Strategic Management courses
+ A record of service to the profession
