Recruitment/Posting Title Tenure-Track Faculty Position Department SAS - Chem & Chemical Biology Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology (CCB) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in physical chemistry with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2025. We especially welcome applicants in theoretical and computational physical chemistry, including data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in the chemical and biomolecular sciences.
The successful candidate will have access to rich experimental and computational resources on campus and engage with world-class research faculty within the department and the University community. Job duties include: establishing and directing an independent research program, pursuing and securing grant funding, undergraduate and graduate teaching in chemistry, and service on departmental committees.
