As a Material Handler, you will be a key part of our Distribution Centre in ensuring the smooth distribution of products and materials to our Dealer stores across Atlantic Canada. You will be picking, packing, shipping and receiving merchandise so you will need to be able to perform strenuous physical activity throughout your shift. We are currently seeking candidates for various shifts, please let us know your preferred shifts in your application. This is a term position until October 2025.

 

Shifts Available:

Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pmAfternoon Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pmNight Shift – Monday to Friday, 11:00pm – 7:00am     

 

Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how: 

             Responsible to the Shift Supervisor for helping to maintain service levels to Home        Hardware Dealers.             Contributing to the smooth flow of merchandise through the Distribution Centre.             Keep work areas clean and organized.             Operate material handling equipment and comply with all health and safety regulations.             Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to complete all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the shift such as picking, put away, receiving and shipping.

 

We’re looking for:

             Good attendance record and punctuality is a requirement.             Must be willing to be trained on powered lift equipment.             Demonstrate high-quality accuracy and attention to detail.             Excellent reading and number skills.             A reliable team player with a great attitude and work ethic.             Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.             A significant output of physical effort is required through lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, etc. The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without difficulty on a consistent basis is needed.
