Terminal Operator

Summary:
Under general supervision of Terminal Manager, the Terminal Operator is responsible for operating all Terminal equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, and loading of refined petroleum products in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership’s procedures and regulatory requirements. Position subject to training and qualification job progression.

Required Education:
High school diploma or GEDMinimum Requirements:
Effectively communicate with peers and management of various levels Self-starter able work with little or no supervision Carry a cell phone allowing for shift hold over or shift reassignment, as well as call out at all hours Able to use basic hand tools and operate basic product testing equipment Proficient in mathematics and able to perform all required calculations Proficient with Microsoft Suite Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for state of residence Must have and Maintian a valid TWIC card or have the ability to acquire one Able to notice subtle Color differences in product samples Must be willing and able to work as a part of team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules, focus attention to details, and follow work rules Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience Working Conditions and Requirements: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
