Territory Distribution Leader - Western Canada

How you will create an impact: This role is responsible for driving strategic growth with key broker partners at AIG through exceptional relationship building skills, deep product knowledge, and keen problem-solving abilities. This position has significant ability to influence our business at AIG; people come to you as a “go-to” source for help and support because of your deep knowledge and expertise of AIG’s products and services. As an experienced distribution team member, you are capable of driving continual improvement and impacting the way that things get done. Because of your influence, you can deliver powerful outcomes for our brokers & clients. The Territory Distribution Leader is primarily focused on, but not limited to, AIG’s commercial lines business. Responsibilities Include: + Drives target account and growth strategies through our key distribution sources + Serves as the central point of contact for key assigned brokers in Western Canada + Responsible for new business growth and supporting renewal strategies for all lines of business. + Coordinates between product groups to assure the best possible outcome for all stakeholders. + Utilizes sales tools available to enhance profitability and reach growth goals. + Liaises with marketing to create meaningful, impactful events with measurable outcomes. + Manages regional and national initiatives involving project planning and execution, team building and leading discussions with stakeholders. + Drives financial results and manages the broader relationships with brokers in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan in Western Canada. + Promotes profitable growth, expands desired mix of business and develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strategies include but are not limited to broker planning, strategic event execution, relationship management, account management, new business production through prospecting, target account initiatives, cross selling & territorial expansion. What we’re looking for: + An expert at cultivating meaningful connections and establishing trusted relationships with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets. + Demonstrated 7+ years of experience within the Commercial Property & Casualty industry is preferred, but we are open to all candidates. + A proven track record in broker management, sales and marketing, or business development in the Property & Casualty industry in Western Canada with established relationships is an asset. + Must be proficient in general insurance product offerings and possesses the ability to learn the full suite of AIG’s product offerings. + Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to effectively present to both small and large groups. + Ability to work both independently as a self-starter as well as in collaboration with several different internal business units. + Must excel in multitasking and problem-solving under deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field is preferred, or business experience in lieu of a formal degree. The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $134,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
