Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology - Ontario (ON-Hamilton) - Contract

**Job purpose**
The Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology is responsible for achieving all territory sales goals through the promotion, sale and support of our new acne prescription products. They will report into the Regional Sales Manager, Medical Dermatology.
**Duties and responsibilities**
+ Directing one-to-one communication with physicians and health care professionals in support of approved product indications
+ Contacting medical professionals and competitively explaining features and benefits of products offered; including managing objections
+ Communicating about and being a key touchpoint/resource in the patient access/benefit program
+ Planning and organizing speakers programs and other peer to peer activities in territory in partnership with Medical
+ Leading execution of Lunch and Learn programs
+ Communicating competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management
+ Timely and accurate completion of all administrative expectations
+ Responsible for complying with Canadian drug regulations (Health Canada. Innovative Medicines Canada regulations and Suns Policies) relative to field drug promotion
**Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)**
+ Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day

+ Gain commitment for trial, and bring additional value through consistent support
+ Bachelors degree and minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience
+ Proven track record demonstrating top sales accomplishments
+ Ability to develop relationships with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff within academic hospitals, clinics and private practice facilities
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian healthcare system processes including reimbursement preferred
+ Strong work ethic; ability to develop priorities and manage time appropriately
+ Competent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Must possess strong business acumen
+ Works effectively with all members of a cross functional team
+ Ability to travel, with occasional overnight stays as needed
