As Territory Manager you will meet/exceed revenue and growth quotas and manage the hospital business in AB/MB/NWT (40% travel required) selling capital equipment in a consultative, professional and high velocity sales environment.  This includes creating demand for products by networking, cold calling, conducting equipment demonstrations to persuade and educate end users in all hospital departments on the unique value of their equipment and tools.  You will also:

Manage relationships with key physicians and important influencing institutions and generate new sales opportunities through cold-calling and other promotional activities. Prospect, qualify and develop/understand customer needs to provide a timely, efficient and well-coordinated product demonstration. Efficiently qualify sales opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and bring deals to a close. Promote the use of educational programs to further develop sales leads. Gather and share insights into how customers use our products and how they define value including what will make our products more valuable to them. Guide company on maximizing the delivery of value focusing on activities that hit key customer value triggers. Actively manage and grow both new and existing client relationships via CRM tool. Manage inventory and all other company property. Attend trade shows as directed by management.

Candidates possess post secondary degree/diploma; life sciences preferred, along with 3-5 years’ experience in medical device sales, with a minimum of 2 years selling capital equipment into a variety of hospital departments with success in new business development and in managing a high volume of capital equipment sales opportunities and closing deals to exceed quotas.  This is a competitive and rapidly changing sales arena that is well suited for a self-motivated seller that excels with a team selling approach. Compensation includes a base salary of $80K, at plan commissions of $80K and lots of opportunity to earn $200K+, company vehicle, and health benefits.
