As one of our Territory Manager Specialists you will have the freedom to create new ways to cooperate with your customers and make a difference to improve patients’ lives. In addition, you will be responsible for achieving the defined sales objectives by cultivating local strategic partnerships with customers and accounts and creating value added offers that bring engagement with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and experts.

 

This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel. The area you will cover is in the Counties of Troms, Nordland, Trøndelag and Møre and Romsdal. You will report directly to the local District Manager.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate and exchange medical and scientific information with health care professionals, primarily cardiologists, endocrinologists, and nephrologists. Develop and maintain strong business relationships and partnerships with new and existing customers in the healthcare centers and hospitals.Train and educate relevant healthcare staff.Develop pre- and post-call plans to meet and build discussion around HCP needs in order to foster network development and communication through accurate and timely follow-up discussions.Maintain and utilize exceptional product knowledge and highly effective selling skills. Define and execute the agreed sales action plan.Apply our Sales model to facilitate HCP’s decision-making process and adoption of Boehringer Ingelheim’s (BI) products.Define and execute the agreed integrated customer plan.Play an important role for patients.Collaborate with colleagues across Boehringer Ingelheim in Norway and Denmark, especially sales, marketing, medical and market access, to provide the best service and solutions for all stakeholders.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in the field of Biology, Life Science, Healthcare or similar.3-5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience in a hospital environment.Valid Driver’s License.You enjoy working in team environment as well as independently.Agile mind-set and ability to quickly turn data into insights and insights into actions.Interest in digital sales tools and in discovering new ways to make the best use of these tools: ‘outside the box mind-set’ with ability to engage customers in new digital platforms.Excellent command of Norwegian and good knowledge of English is required.Preferably living in the Trondheim area.
