Territory Sales - Field Sales Account Executive
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Territory Sales – Field Sales Account Executive** to join our team specializing in **Sales** for our **Botswana Branch** in **Gaborone, Botswana.** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways** : + Prospect and Develop New Opportunities: Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to grow the business. + Execute Account Plans: Develop and execute account plans for top prospects with coaching support, ensuring strategic alignment. + Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed sales targets within your assigned territory, market segment, or channel partners. + Build Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to understand their needs, business models, and buying processes. + Negotiate and Close Deals: Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines, including payment terms, and assist with collections to maintain acceptable levels of past due accounts. + Drive Customer Satisfaction: Respond to customer concerns promptly and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. + Utilize Sales Tools and Processes: Consistently use the Cummins Sales Process and tools like Customer Relationship Management to support sales and customer value. + Maintain Sales Forecasts: Track and report sales activity, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and work with internal stakeholders to balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and analyze data from various sources, including Marketing/Market Research, to identify and prioritize market and product segment opportunities. + Customer Relationship Management: Skills to measure customer satisfaction, create action plans to improve it, and establish and maintain positive customer relations. + Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to partner with Supply Chain and Service teams, and align with key stakeholders across functions to develop pricing strategies and achieve business targets. + Sales and Forecasting Expertise: Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and proactive planning to execute account/territory-level sales strategies effectively. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/ Experience** + A college, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related subject, or acceptable sales-related work experience, or a combination of education and experience. + This position may require licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations. + Basic relevant work experience is preferred. **Job** Sales **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Exempt - Entry Level **ReqID** 2408519 **Relocation Package** No
