LOCATION: Chicago, IL

The Territory Sales Intern is a 10-week hybrid internship based in Chicago, IL. This internship will provide hands-on experience in sales and analytics. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to gain insights into sales processes and contribute to initiatives that drive business growth and efficiency.
Internship Dates: June 2nd – August 7th

Key responsibilities for this position include:
+ Analyze AWG data to identify regional opportunities across the Distribution Centers
+ Outline any Base or Promotion opportunities by DC that should be pursued with AWG Corp. or the CCM’s
+ Utilize competitive consumption reporting out of Circana
+ Utilize LHD Circana data to review consumption and distribution opportunities
+ Conduct market visits to assess best in class shelving practices, distribution, competitive intel, pricing, etc.
+ Execute any customer visits at non-covered accounts
+ Execute in-store resets as needed to support the GTIN transition
+ Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and customer interactions
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations to optimize sales efforts
Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
+ Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in General Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, or related fields
+ Passionate about sales operations, process optimization and data-driven decision making.
+ Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
+ A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
