Territory Sales Manager Water Diagnostics – UK & Ireland

Leave your mark on our world: your job as a Territory Sales Manager within our Water Diagnostics business, covering UK and Ireland.
Each day, you will have responsibility to sell and promote IDEXX water testing products in the UK and Ireland. This area of our business is experiencing phenomenal growth & it’s a very exciting time to join the team.

In this Role:
You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, identifying new business opportunities whilst building rapport with a variety of stakeholders. You will ensure that sales and revenue goals are met through developing relationships and executing plans and strategies. You will carry out in-field training & provide technical support, kit demonstrations & participate in the development of forecasts, budgets and marketing strategy.

We encourage initiative and creativity, combined with commitment to careful planning and disciplined execution. You are confident, passionate about customer care, and have a 'can-do' attitude. Your strong persuasive skills and ability to learn product knowledge are the keys to your success.
 

What do you need to succeed?

Proven successful experience in sales and a background in life sciences (preferably in biology, chemistry, engineering or physics).  Experience in Water Micro-Biology, or a water testing background would be an advantage.Minimum 5-years work experience in sales.Experience working with key accounts and networking within larger organisationsAbility to promote ideas persuasively, be highly motivated and be great at problem solving.Flexibility for reactive travel & motivation for a varied work week – expected travel 80%Fantastic organizational skills and time management.Outstanding communication skills across several stakeholders both internally and externallyAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
