Territory Sales Representative

What Territory Management - Distribution contributes to Cardinal Health

Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.

Territory Management - Distribution is responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts. Sells products and services that help facilitate patient care predominately through optimizing the supply chain and the selection and management of the products within.

Responsibilities

Maintains and manages relationships with an assigned set of existing and new customers to achieve desired sales and service metrics. Responsible for developing and nurturing these relationships to meet the goals and objectives identified by the customers and Cardinal Health.Assists in building and implementing a sales plan for the assigned area, managing and tracking customer sales activity and prospective customer initiatives.Achieves sales targets, reports on sales progress and competitor and customer activities to sales manager and assures that activity is properly entered into the management system to ensure flawless execution of product delivery to the customer.Provides additional tailored product offerings to existing clients to drive customers upselling and repurchase.Manages the customer pipeline and cadence of client interactions.Collaborates cross functionally with the sales and marketing teams to ensure strategic objectives are being met.Perform periodic inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies. Use technology tools to track inventory, forecast needs, and generate reports.Analyze historical sales data to identify patterns and trends that can inform strategic decisions.Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Group Purchasing Organizations, etc). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience, preferredBachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite is requiredPR Driver’s License is requiredTerritory Area (Isabela to Manati) Living withing this area is preferred.Must lift up to 75 pounds when necessary
