Territory Sales Representative

As our Territory Sales Representative, you will optimally lead, promote and grow Isolation Valve sales across your territory, building and strengthening existing customer relationships, whilst prospecting for new growth opportunities, with a focus on after-sales products, services and solutions, including the coordination of product promotion and training events as well as administration of pricing and service agreements.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Be responsible for achieving / exceeding assigned bookings targets.  Pro-actively build and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing customers within the region, whilst driving new business and growth. Provide a high level of face-to-face customer interaction and to a lesser extent, phone and email responses Respond to enquiries from customers Understand customer needs and pains Provide general and technical product support Work with the Proposals Engineering group to provide quotations for larger scale projects. Conduct and assist with presentations, product training and promotional events, ensuring that there is a strong awareness of Emerson capabilities and local support available within the region. Implement strategic, sales and marketing plans for the region.  Review, evaluate and report on sales activities and initiatives, keeping CRM fully maintained and up to date. Conduct analysis and research to gain a full understanding of the customer base and keep abreast of any changes to the market, competitors, technology and the industry in general

For This Role, You Will Need:

Tertiary or trade qualified in an engineering, science or business discipline Previous Sales experience and using CRM database Experience and knowledge of the resource, chemical and water industry is a plus Experience and understanding of sales budgeting processes and forecasting and financial reporting Understanding the technical aspects of the business and key business drivers
