The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities from both existing and new customers within a designated sales territory. Candidates will achieve targets by managing, building, and developing a pipeline of sales opportunities. This will be accomplished through following up on qualified leads generated by the Demand Generation and/or Sales Development organization, as well as through outbound lead generation from targeted prospect and customer lists. Candidates will also be expected to cold-call and prospect to achieve their sales goals.

Territory Sales Representatives will strategically develop and qualify opportunities within their assigned territory and collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives, field-based sales executives, Sales Development Executives, License Compliance teams, and channel partners.
Responsibilities
Prioritise high-potential target accounts within a defined territoryCollaborate with Sales Development Representatives to ensure smooth and timely follow-up on sales leadsEvaluate customer profiles, create value-driven messaging, and execute key steps within account plansGenerate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within the assigned sales territoryQuickly identify decision-makers and influencers, along with their corresponding business needs, timelines, and budgetsUnderstand and address prospects' and customers' needs by clearly articulating how Autodesk solutions can accelerate their business successLeverage telephone, email, and web-based communication as primary methods for connecting with customersPartner with field-based Territory Sales Executives as appropriateBuild and develop strong relationships with channel partners to enhance overall territory performance and exceed customer expectationsAssemble the appropriate team for each opportunity, coordinating Autodesk personnel (including pre-sales, consultants, and service teams) to drive value for clientsProvide accurate and timely billing forecasts and sales updates to managersConsistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets/quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs)Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in an inside sales or office-based sales environmentAbility to adapt quickly and manage challenging situations while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitudeStrong work ethic; team-oriented, self-starter with high energy and results-driven mindset. Experience in database management is a plusSolid business acumen and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skillsProven experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic business outcomesAbility to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles effectivelyCommitment to improving sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's career progression frameworkComfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentDemonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, quotas, and KPIsProficiency in English (both written and verbal)Experience in pre-sales and/or technical product sales is an advantageBackground in manufacturing and/or construction industries is a plusThe Ideal Candidate
