Associate – Terrorism & Political Violence Analytics

This role is for a risk modelling professional ready to develop and promote specialist analytical tools to assist WTW clients in identifying and evaluating their exposure to crisis risks. This role would involve partnering with WTW’s Risk & Analytics team to develop and promote new and existing tools, providing expertise and thought leadership to Terrorism & Political Violence clients.

The Role

Develop and promote analytical tools for evaluating the risk and potential severity to Terrorism and Political Violence events Deploy quantitative risk analysis to assess and evaluate client risk to support sales and placement opportunities Leverage data visualization tools to create dynamic reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in regular client and underwriter meetings, including client business travel where required Provide training to WTW colleagues on current tools Work with colleagues from around WTW’s global network to assist with cross-selling opportunities Produce and manage new client projects specific to the deployment of analytics Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by WTW Research and write thought leadership on risk identification and analytical capabilities.

The Requirements

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferredTechnology acumen – ability to utilize excel and work in R/Python programming for risk modeling and data analysis.2 years of practical Experience with risk modeling tools, such as Moody’s RMS Risk Modeler and Verisk's Touchstone for exposure analysis, loss estimation, and portfolio risk assessment.Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, GIS) and ability to collaborate with technical teams to implement and deploy solutions.Strong presentation skills (written and verbal); ability to drive complex conversations and engage at executive level.Relationship management and customer focus; ability to leverage internal and external relationships to bring WTW resources and assets tailored to client needs;Business acumen: knowledge of strategy, tactics and solutions for the client.Project Management; ability to drive end to end oversight of large, complex, ambiguous or multi-dimensional projects.Receptive to feedback; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; high adaptabilityStrong leadership skills; provides encouragement, takes control of team projects, leads key work areas and collaborates with others. Provides clear guidance to ensure others fulfil roles effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The [hourly rate] or [base salary compensation range] being offered for this role is $90,000-$110,000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
