The Role:
The Supply Chain Transformation function is responsible for the identification, planning, design, development, and deployment of solutions that enhance the business performance of the GPC Supply Chain.
The team ensures the effective planning, delivery, governance and reporting for key project and change initiatives. It ensures capital investments are delivered in the most effective and cost-efficient way and that these investments support the delivery of the Supply Chain strategic plan and improvements across GPC’s operating mode.
Duration: 8-month maternity leave position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to plan, execute, and validate UAT testing, ensuring functionality meets business requirements. Engage effectively to define roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all project activities.Testing and Documentation: Develop automation scripts as needed, identify software defects, and create relevant documentation such as test plans, scenarios, and scripts.Project Involvement: Participate directly with project teams during configuration, testing, training, and implementation phases. Support IT project teams in identifying and managing dependencies, changes, risks, and issues.Problem Solving and Compliance: Identify problems, propose solutions, and take appropriate action to resolve issues. Ensure compliance with organizational standards by adhering to timelines and policies.Technical Expertise: Leverage platform expertise to address moderately complex issues and implement effective resolutions. Design, develop, and implement system enhancements to meet business requirements.Communication and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop solutions to business problems, ensuring seamless delivery across all project phases.Mandatory Technical Skills:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.Experience with Jira for managing enhancements and issues.Understanding of process steps and data flows across involved systems, particularly warehouse automation.To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
