Apple Hardware team is looking for a Test and Characterization engineer to evaluate new technology of electro-optical devices. Be part of Apple Technology team that fosters a collaborative environment with creative talents that build best-in-class products and groundbreaking technologies.DescriptionDescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for testing of devices and collaborate with others to evaluate device performance. - Perform and customize automated product performance tests. - Collaborate with both internal and external partners to evaluate metrology system performance and drive improvements in test equipment and test protocols. - Work with test teams and vendors on defining and bring up new metrology systems. - Partner with design, process and test engineers to evaluate and improve device performance.Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Optical Science or Physics.Experience in development of tools and systems through one or more relevant programming or scripting languages.At least 5 years in a test development or test engineering role.Key QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsExperience in develop tests using wafer auto-probers and electro-optical measurement instruments.Hands-on experience in characterizing in semi-conductor device, in the area of Optical, Electrical or Physics perspective.Proven track record of working independently and delivering high-quality solutions within tight schedules.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity, and thus we treat all applicants fairly and equally.
