Position Summary\n

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking an Test and Evaluation Engineer to support our Michigan Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.\n\nThis position is for a T&E Engineer or Engineering Technician on the Tactical Systems Test and Evaluation (TS T&E) Branch within the Product Assurance and Test (PA&T) Directorate in GVSC.\nThis position is in support of the PEO CS&CSS Staff and is to be collocated with the PEO CS&CSS Staff as non-embedded support.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications of Test and Evaluation Engineer \n

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study and 10+ years of relevant experience. Transitioning military with prior experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates are not required or expected to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, you are encouraged to apply.\n\nAbility to support and mentor less experienced T&E engineers during the development of their program's T&E strategy, approach, process, schedule, and resource requirements.\nAbility to work in a collaborative environment with product managers, engineers, logisticians, contracting analysts, budget analyst, along with multiple external Government organizations to include Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), the User Representative, other Product Offices along with the defense industry.\nCollaborate with GVSC T&E Technical Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain a T&E competency management program to include training, mentoring, and career development. (examples: ATIRS, COGNOS, TIR Portal, Test Planning Process)\nMaintain test related documents such as PEO level test schedule, PEO SharePoint site with current and updated ATEO Test related policies, and programmatic test related documentation such as Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and System Acquisition Master Plan (SAMP).\nCoordinate and participate in regular engagements with ATEO, ATEC HQ and DOT&E.\nParticipate in and support\/lead the development of test related common SOW language as well as validation plans as part of the Common Requirements effort.\nCoordinate and conduct quarterly PEO CS&CSS wide test meetings to include, but not limited to: highlight some ongoing test programs, discussions with ATEC and other test organizations, and communicate lessons learned to the larger test community.\nHave a working knowledge of program management (program planning, execution, risk management, configuration management, metrics, earned value systems, issue resolution).\nTravel occasionally (less than 10%) to the test sites in support of related meetings and test events.\nProvide T&E programmatic advice and knowledge of program, system engineering and value management technologies to program offices across PEO CS&CSS.\nDevelop and present data for reviews to provide timely and accurate reporting and program status to internal\/external elements.\nOrganize and encourage cross-PM communication within the PEO CS&CSS Test Community, especially between programs on the DOT&E Oversight List and Middle Tier Acquisition Programs.\nPresent T&E topics at the quarterly APEO SE Roundtable.\nLead the development and execution of O-5 Test Program\nKnowledge of the PEO\/PM structure and organizations\nDemonstrated ability to develop and communicate T&E best practices\nDemonstrated program management skills\nDemonstrated resource management skills\nDemonstrated communication skills (oral & written)\nKnowledge and experience with SE Process\nDemonstrated problem solving skill with emphasis on analysis, COA development and decision presentation\nDemonstrated ability in developing and reporting programmatic (Cost, Schedule, Performance of T&E Programs)\nKnowledge of the CCDC structure and organization, with emphasis on GVSC\n\n
