As a senior quality assurance engineer your job is to work in close cooperation with the development and product management teams and make sure that the software is verified and ready for production deployments.

 

The ideal candidate should be in possession of most of the following technical and interpersonal skills:

•    5-8 years of software and product testing experience 
•    Solid knowledge of cloud computing, container technologies and related areas
•    Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
•    Good understanding of networking concepts including IPv6
•    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, quality mindset and attention to details.

The following qualifications and skills are considered as strong advantage:

•    Experience in some scripting language (like Bash, Perl or Python)
•    Experience with Helm and Istio
•    Proven experience with some test automation tool such as JMeter or Robot framework
•    Experience with performance, stability and security testing.

•    Analyze feature requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify them from functionality, stability, performance and security perspective.
•    Install and integrate our product in labs, execute automated and manual tests on it, report the findings to the development team and help them to reproduce and correct the issues.
•    Participate to R&D architecture meetings, to influence product development from quality and testability perspective.
•    Automate test scenarios, develop tools and scripts for repetitive tasks.
•    Create test strategy, test reports and acceptance test manuals.
