Test architect Vice President will be responsible for overseeing safe agile tribe maturity model. This role is pivotal in ensuring testing efficiency by driving shift left with automation, service virtualizations etc. The ideal candidate will lead a team of quality assurance engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement best practices in automated testing to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our quality assurance processes.
To be successful Test Architect Vice President, you should have experience with:
Strong understanding & experience of safe agile – Tribe Maturity Model.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium,Seetest etc.
Test Efficiency by driving left shift, test automation, service virtualization
Test Strategy Development: Ability to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, including automated test scripts and test frameworks.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex software systems and develop testing strategies to ensure quality outcomes.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
Security Testing: Understanding of security testing principles and tools.
Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Skills in scripting for automation/migration tasks are necessary, along with excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively and mentor junior team members. Experience with PaaS products and knowledge of container orchestration/management using platforms like Red Hat OpenShift, VMWare, AWS, Azure is preferred.
The position demands strong collaboration skills with both executives and cross-functional teams, as well as the capability to communicate technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.

Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
Accountabilities
Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards.Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues. .Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested.Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.Vice President Expectations
