Improving the way we testChallenge the status quoDefining and improving our test vision, test strategy and standards & guidelinesExperimenting with new tools to improve our testing capabilitiesSupport and coaching of Ops Engineers in all squads to improve testingSupport and coaching the product owners and business analysts to improve the way of working, with quality in mindImplementing and enforcing quality controls Participate in user story refinement, ask all the “but what if” questions, propagate example mapping and ensure adequate acceptance criteria are defined (functional as well as non-functional)Enforcing compliance with Definition of Read and Definition of Done Full test automation of functional tests and regression testsManual testing when and where requiredSetting up and executing performance testsSupporting Disaster Recovery Tests and Security Penetration TestingMonitoring the health of our application, using tools likeKibana and GrafanaInternal Pega monitoring (AES)Ensuring compliancyKeep our application compliance with IT risk policiesMaintain access matrix Supporting the application through ITIL processes, among whichIncident, Problem and Change ManagementManaging and improving the Deployment Pipeline and embedding quality controls as part of it

What we expect from you

EducationBachelor’s degree in engineeringTesting skillsDefining and applying test standards & guidelinesDefining test vision and test strategyUsing Test Automation Frameworks for defining and running automated testsExperience with (Acceptance) Test Driven Development and ability to promote itExperience with integrating automated tests within build & deployment pipeline (CD/CI)Experience with setting up automated performance tests (measuring performance against benchmark and different types of load)Coaching skillsMentoring and training other Ops Engineers in the field of testing and automationFacilitation skillsTechnology, tools and process knowledgeCucumber, SeleniumITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem and Change Management)Azure DevOpsAgile team experience with SCRUM or Kanban or XPJava knowledgeMindset & soft skillsAutomation mindset & waste busterProactive attitude, always on the look-out for improving your and our way of workingDiplomacy and good communication skillsNot shy to express and defend his/her opinion in front of a crowd (even if it is not the popular opinion)Analysis capabilities and testing abilities
