About Spectrum Power 7

More than three decades of knowledge and experience are now reflected in systems like Spectrum Power. Different solutions for power transmission and distribution, advanced monitoring, security assessment and operational improvement of an electric network are developed to obtain high customer benefits like high quality of energy supplied, energy efficiency and grid security. You will be part of a multinational team combining: Engineers, IT Specialists, Software architects and Project Managers, that contribute to the success of our customers business!

We make real what matters. What part will you play? Designing automation frameworks; Set-out and execute (manual and automated) functional and workflow tests; Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing early in the development cycle, within CI/CD; Integrate security testing early in the development lifecycle, alongside functional and performance testing; Evaluate test results, document defects in the defined tools; Collaborate with test and development colleagues from global teams (USA, Brazil, Austria, Germany); Understand the customer use cases and discuss the test results with product management and contacts of our customer projects. Use your skills to move the world forward: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering (or comparable education); Proficiency in programming languages such as Python; 3+ years of experience in software testing; Experience with system test automation (setup of test automation); Excellent written and verbal English skills. Nice to have: Familiar with Automated GUI Testing (e.g. Squish); Accustomed to work in international teams within an Agile Setup; Experience in power engineering would be advantageous; ISTQB certification; Knowledge of SQL. Desired soft skills: Good communication, problem solving and analytical thinking; Strong self-organization, including the ability to work independently and manage time effectively; Teammate with a highly collaborative, self-motivated, customer focused, positive and upbeat attitude; Committed to be quality oriented, an organized person with a well documented business delivery; Eager to learn new technologies, tools and Power Grid domain know-how; Able to facilitate the collaboration between Global and Local teams; Develop and apply methodologies to meet customer needs; Inspire the team with new insights and visions and actively promote platform development; An ability to understand and explain abstract concepts in a clear way to technical and non-technical audiences.
