Let's talk about the Role
We are seeking an experienced Test Director to lead the testing strategy and execution for a large-scale ERP transformation program. The role involves overseeing testing governance, planning, execution, and quality assurance to ensure successful ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive ERP testing experience (SAP, Oracle, or other platforms) and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex transformation environment.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

Leads a significant and complex Program Test Chapter for the global ERP uplift. The role is required to provide Testing Leadership and develop the program strategy aligning to ResMed’s current Testing Centre of Excellence.

Looks beyond the existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems, demonstrates versatility and has in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional roles. Leads a large number of employees, multiple sub-teams, or large teams with complex or highly technical responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for the ERP transformation program. 

Oversee and manage all phases of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Security Testing, Performance Testing, and Regression Testing. 

Establish and maintain testing frameworks, processes, and governance to ensure quality and compliance. 

Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with program timelines and objectives. 

Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, system integrators, and vendors to integrate testing into the ERP implementation lifecycle.

Define and track testing KPIs and metrics, ensuring visibility into test coverage, defect management, and overall quality assurance. 

Oversee test automation strategy, leveraging tools and frameworks to improve efficiency. 

Manage testing resources, budgets, and timelines, ensuring optimal utilization and delivery. 

Ensure all test environments, data, and configurations are set up correctly for testing phases. 

Provide leadership and mentoring to testing teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. 

Identify and mitigate risks, defects, and issues to ensure a smooth transition to production. 

Stay up to date with best practices in ERP testing methodologies and tools. 

Key Skills & Experience: 

Proven experience in leading testing for large-scale ERP transformation programs ( Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms). 

Deep knowledge of ERP testing methodologies and best practices. 

Experience with test management tools (JIRA, OpKey, SoapUI/Postman, Apache JMeter/LoadRunner) 

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 

Ability to lead cross-functional testing teams and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders. 

Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities. 

Experience working in complex, multi-vendor ERP landscapes. 

Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

Certifications in relevant ERP testing frameworks are a plus i.e. ITSQB, Certified Test Manager. 

Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.) is desirable.
